Agriculture Training Adviser

About The Role
Collaborate with learners and workplaces to identify and promote training opportunities and grow capability within the agriculture industry.
In this role you would:
- Be a people-focused person with a passion for building strong working connections in the agriculture sector.
- Work alongside learners and employers to identify training needs and assist with developing training plans to support learner progression.
- Enrol learners and support them to complete successfully
- Conduct learner and workplace visits
- Proactively market Primary ITO to prospective employers and learners.
This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week Monday to Friday) has a flexible based within the wider Canterbury region for the right candidate. This role would also require regional travel when appropriate, in which a company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge/experience in the agriculture sector.
- Experience in customer focused role
- Sales training experience
- Computer literacy and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management, planning, and organisation skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbally, and relationship building skills
Understanding of work-based learning would be beneficial.
